Later, in November, 2004 through an amendment in the Balochistan Government Rules of Business 1976 its nomenclature was changed into Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department. The Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department is an administrative department of the Government of Balochistan and its functions are mainly of advisory nature.
